6 years ago we went to Florida for my Mum and Dad’s honeymoon and one of the desserts I loved most and have always remembered were the Zebra domes I had at the Animal Kingdom hotel. I thought these would make the perfect entry for zebra week so had a go at recreating them myself.
This was my hardest challenge so far as I had to make a sponge cake for the base plus a chocolate mousse for the filling then melt the chocolate and cover them to decorate! The mousse was the hardest as it took a lot of whisking so I had to get my Dad to help as it was too hard for me and I got tired.
These looked really difficult to make and definitely made our mouth water!
